BTENGAL ELECTION ; 7 observers have been identified for looking after expenditure
Debasish Pal, News Bengal Today , Kolkata ; On 16 March Dy CEC Sri Sudip Jain met CEO CP ADG (Law and Order) DM SP of many districts Chief Secretary Home Secretary and other officers to discuss about the preparedness of Election.
He stressed upon the need of strict compliance of model code of conduct.
He also stressed upon the need of providing proper infrastructure to central force.
He advised to popularise SUBIDHA app which is used to extend permission for meeting procession Mike car etc .
7 observers have been identified for looking after expenditure.
Today notification has been issued for first phase of poll. 25 th is the last day of filing nomination.26 th is scheduled for scrutiny.28 th is last day of withdrawal.
Through National Grivance Service 361 complaints have been registered out of which 287 have been resolved.
Through C VIGIL 1139 complaints have been registered and 677 redressed. Through Citizens forum 486 complaints received and 437 redressed.
Cash seizures uptil now is RS 54-87 lacs

Ammunition seizures 235
Besides liquor explosive 6750 kg jilatin stick 2676 kg cough syrup has been seized.
