Politics Takes Lead In Schools

Roushan Bano, News Bengal Today, Kolkata : In the few recent years ,Politics is seriously interfering with the life of the teachers in majority of the schools of Kolkata.
'Politics runs high in our school'.The principal said this with a typical pride on her face!
'If there is no equality in salary,there can be no friendship with the teachers who are joining new.'This was the typical statement of a senior teacher regarding a junior teacher,just because of the fact that the junior teacher was paid a high salary.
Speaking ill of colleague teachers have become the regular trend among teachers of schools.If there is so much politics in schools ,how can teachers play an important role in becoming the friend,philosopher and guide to students?
Well ,this question remains unanswered in today's scenario
